Media Home
The Library or Media Center is open from 9am-3:40pm.
Students in Kindergarten through second grade visit the library once a week to check out books and to have a library lesson. There is also time during their visit to check out books. Kindergarten students check out 1 book for 1 week. Students in first grade through sixth grade can checkout up to 2 books for two weeks. Students in first through sixth grade may come to the library as class time allows to check in and check out books. Students in grades 3-6th grade also come with their classes every other week to learn library information skills.
If you have a passion for books and serving your school community please keep the library in mind for the 2025-2026 school year. We have volunteering opportunities on a weekly or monthly basis and during our Book Fairs!
Let us hear from you and keep on reading!

BRIARWOOD MEDIA CENTER MISSION STATEMENT:
The mission of the Moore Public Schools library media program is to enable students and staff to become life-long learners and effective users of ideas and information. To accomplish this mission, library media specialists and classroom teachers cooperate in planning and providing units of study which integrate information skills with classroom content. Resources and activities representing a diversity of experiences and skills assist the students in becoming skilled users of information. The program also will emphasize the value of reading for pleasure and the appreciation and enjoyment of literature.
Briarwood Media Center Creed:
I am a reader and a learner. I can find books in the library media center for myself. I can use information to answer my questions and do my assignments. I can find pleasure in all genres of literature. I will care for the books I borrow and return them promptly. I will not interfere with the learning of others. The library media center will help me to become a life-long learner.
