Meet the Library Staff

My name is Mrs. Lowe.   I am the Library Media Specialist at Briarwood Elementary. I have been teaching at Briarwood for the past 18 of my 26 years as an educator. My love of literature led me to make a change from Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grade classrooms to my classroom in the library for the past four years, where I get to work with all students! I live locally with my husband and our two  students, who are a high school Sophomore and College Freshman this year! In my spare time, I enjoy church activities, reading (of course), and spending time with my family! I love teaching and inspiring young minds to become creative thinkers and independent learners through books and technology. I get to do just that, in the library, through our weekly or bi-weekly class lessons!

Mrs. Nguyen or "Miss Jenny", as the students call her, is the part time Library Media Assistant at Briarwood Elementary School.  She is available to assist students in the library and loves working hand in hand with all to keep the library organized and ready for student activities and check out each day.
