Redbud Read Aloud

The Redbud Read-Aloud Award is a program for Kindergarten through 2nd grade students. Consisting of 16 books paired in a bracket style voting match-up. Books are read aloud in class or library, and students vote for a favorite. A "winner" for each class is named and turned in toward our state "winner".  Goals of the RedbudRead-Aloud Award Program: Build listening and analytical skills using quality, fun literature, experience concept of choice and voting procedures. It is also our aim to increase enthusiasm and future participation in the OK Sequoyah Book Award Program in 3rd - 6th grades.
